 Dr. Bruce Carter relocated in the fall of 2000 to a new, state-of-the-art facility in the Center for Outpatient Medicine on the Salem Hospital campus. Dr. Carter performs a full range of plastic surgery services. He is dedicated to the highest possible standards of care and to the continuing development of his professional skills and knowledge. Patients are treated with the utmost respect and compassion knowing that the surgical recommendations are individually assessed and customized to their particular needs.

 Dr. Carter specializes in the improvement of the appearance, the correction of defects, and the functional improvement of most body areas. He achieves this with current and innovative plastic surgery techniques and equipment. Dr. Carter is pleased that the art of plastic surgery is continually evolving with new procedures and techniques which can be tailored for enhanced results or quicker recovery. To remain at the top of his field, he dedicates special time to ongoing continuing education and is often able to offer new techniques and services as a result. Dr. Carter continues to be the only plastic surgeon in the area to offer endoscopic facial surgery, endoscopically assisted breast augmentation and external ultrasonic assisted liposuction.

Our office surgical facilities have met the high standards for accreditation for over 18 years. We were the second facility in the state of Oregon that met these strict standards. Our facility includes advanced endoscopic, ultrasonic, and emergency equipment to achieve the best results while ensuring patient safety. For your safety and comfort, our office has a team of knowledgeable Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists that provide anesthesia services.

Our staff will be pleased to assist you in any way possible and all efforts will be made to accommodate your schedule. During your first consultation, Dr. Carter will answer your questions about the expected results, alternatives, recovery time, costs, and other concerns. He will assist you in making an informed decision based upon your individual needs. Some reconstructive conditions may require a physicians referral. We are happy to help facilitate this process. Everyone at our office is at your service.
Rescheduling Appointments
Our office wants to make your appointment as convenient as possible. Please let us know at any time if you would prefer a different appointment time or day. If our schedule changes, we refer to the requests of our patients and try to accommodate these if at all possible. If you need to delay or postpone your appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 48 hours notice.
